It is Carbon Neutral because its 100% vegetable oil. The process of photosynthesis which converted carbon dioxide into plant material is solar powered. The burning of oil rendered from the plant material is 1:1; no more or less, thus, carbon neutral. WVO, when consumed as fuel in a diesel engine, the result is zero, that's 0% sulphur emissions, which is the major source of smog.
